Xmas Trip - Day 1: Ljubljana

After 2 days in Vienna Enej and I left on our 9-day Xmas trip. We took the train in the morning of Xmas eve to Ljubljana. Barbara came to pick us up with her friend Bojam, but we stayed and went around the city first. We only arrived in the afternoon so it didn't leave us very much time to see the city.

I was surprised the concert ended so early (around 8?) but Enej said it's because most people would go to church at that time. We went into one of the churches by the square and it was packed with people with lots of candles and a beautiful nativity scene set up. It was nice to see Christmas not so commercialized but spiritual and religious.

Zmajski Most with its guardian green dragons (Argh... too dark to see the dragons :S)

After we saw the dragons we were both tired and called Barbara, and Bojam gave us a ride to her place in Kranj.

Enej and Barbara went to the midnight mass together. I wanted to go but was too tired so I went to sleeep first. Merry Christmas!
