Day 6: Copenhagen

The harbor. On the 6th day we caught another early morning train to Copenhagen. We have to cross the water so we took the ferry as well.

they load the entire section of the train onto the ferry!

the train station in Copenhagen. It's pretty nice compared to other train stations so far

We picked a hostel but when we called nobody answered, so we decided to just go there to check it out. But when we got there turned out the hostel is closed for the year! So we had to start all over again and find another hostel and figure out how to get there... So we finally got to this hostel and it probably has the worst rooms we'd stayed at. It's tiny with 9 people sleeping in it, and they have 3 bunk beds stacked on top of each other. It's pretty scary. (forgot to take a picture of that...)

Sights on the bus ride. After we finaly settled down it was already 5pm, so we had to hurry if we wanted to get some sightseeing done. The price levels are very high in Denmark, and the public transportation is very expensive too.

Tovoli gardens at night. We were gonna go sample some real Danish food, but the restaurants are too expensive so we ended up eating McDonalds, which had a special offer of burgers for 10 Kroners...
