Austria Trip - Day 1: Salzburg

This week I wanted to go see other places in Austria, so I went to Salzburg and Innsbruck. I wanted to take the Sound of Music tour in Salzburg, but it was too expensive (29 Euro) so I didn't go... :( I adjusted the exposure last time and thought the camera would reset itself... But of course it didn't and all of the pictures in Salzburg are over exposed... doh!! XP

Hiking up to Hohensalzburg. There's a furnicular car that takes you up to the fortress, but you have to buy the ticket in a bundle with all the entrance fees into the buildings and the tour, which costs 9.6 euros and there are no discounts for students. So I asked the guy at the counter if I could go up there by myself, and he said "sure," and CONVENIENTLY FORGOT to tell me that even if you hike up there, you still have to pay the full price to get into the fortress... Thanks man... How could you leave out a vital piece of information like that, jerk!? I so felt like kicking his a$$ when I hiked all the way up there, to the gate... I'm sure all the other suckers who hiked up with me know what I'm talking about...
