After the Vasa Museum I went to Skansen, the world's first open-air museum, showing how people used to live in the pre-industrial Scandinavia

The fun fair. The park's pretty empty... I guess it's better to come in the summer when they have the folk dancing too :S

The last night in Stockholm I went to the Icebar, which is by the same people who made the Icehotel featured in the last James Bond movie. I have to say that it was pretty cool, literally. :P The drinks were held in glasses made out of ice too, and I didn't know it's so nice to drink out of an ice glass! It was sweet!

My drink: non-alcoholic elderberry juice... it's yummy! :P

Stureplan District

I said goodbye to Stockholm reluctantly and went on my plane back to Vienna. I have to say Scandinavia is my favorite region of Europe so far. Everything is nice and clean, the living standard is high, and people there are really nice, speak good English, and smoke less. Too bad it's too cold there... Otherwise it'd be perfect :)

I was glad that I was taking the plane back to Vienna and not the train. The plane only takes less than 4 hours, while the train will take 24... I have to say the airport in Vienna is not as nice as the ones in Scandinavia, and slower too. It took me almost 2 hours to get home from the airport. The airport shuttle was only supposed to take 35 minutes, but it was rush hour so it took more like an hour... I was glad to be home but hope to have a chance to visit Scandinavia again in the future (and hopefully in the summer).
