Day 7: Rome

Finally we got to Rome! And it was warm! Yay! Rome really is an amazing city with so much to see! I wish we had more time there! The city was swarming with tourists even in winter! They were everywhere!

Day 6: Florence


It snowed over night and we had a white Florence!!

We went to the Uffizi art gallery in the afternoon. It displays the art treasure of the Medici family and includes some very famous art works such as Botticelli's The Birth of Venus and Primavera and da Vinci's The Annunciation.

We ordered in pizza the previous night and that day we cooked some pasta at the B&B. Enej has been falling dead asleep in the early evening for days. His excuse was jet lag and it's actually pretty funny :P

Florence is a pretty nice city, although not the most impressive. I was glad that it was cleaner than Venice and the streets were a little easier to follow.
